Project Ares

Project Ares is a First Person walking simulator developed in Unreal Engine 5.

 

I was the Programmer, Level Designer, and Producer for this project. As the project's Programmer, I created the game's technical aspects, code, and systems  to create vital game systems using both Blueprint and C++ scripts. In my capacity as Producer I developed sprints and backlogs in Jira and executed scrum based workflows. Finally, as then game's Level Designer I mapped and created the game's cave systems.

 

Software used for this project beyond the game engine are Jira and Visual Studio.

Totally Accurate HR Simulator: Game Dev Edition

Totally Accurate HR Simulator: game Dev Edition (TAHRS) was developed in Unity, for the 2024 Global Game Jam. TAHRS won third place in both the Best Use of Diversifiers and Best Narrative categories.

 

I worked as the game's Level Designer, and Technical Designer,. As Level Designer I mapped, created, and implemented the game's main level utilizing pre made assets. As Technical designer, I worked closely with the team's two programmers to modify, implement, and develop code for the project. 

 

Software used in TAHRS development include Unity, GitHub, and Visual Studio Code.

Lif

Created for Austin Global Game Jam 2023, Lif is a platformer game developed using Gamemaker Studio 2. Lif won 1st place in the Best Audio category.

 

I led the project as its producer and acted as the lead of our the audio team. As the project's Producer I maintained workflow between different aspects of the team, delegated tasks, and prioritized requirements for our game's development. As Audio Lead, I ran and controlled the development of audio alongside another developer, created music and sound effects, and implemented them into the final product.

 

Software used in Lif's creation include Adobe Audition, Aseprite, BeepBox, and GitHub.
